Chivas cocktails are served throughout the night with a dedicated toast of new premium blended whisky, Chivas Extra, made by Global Brand Ambassador Max Warner. For 2014 the dedicated Chivas Regal Man of Chivalry Award was presented to Hugh Evans.

Sephora – the world’s leading beauty authority – took its first step into the Australian market with a dedicated brand preview showcase targeting key media. Produced by Cav Con, the execution saw 30+ brands presented via individual instillations and where a full schedule media interviews with various brand ambassadors took place throughout the day.

Leading man, Chris Noth, took up the mantle of Australian ambassador for Chivas Regal’s new premium blended whisky, ‘Extra’. Cav Con was part of the team which orchestrated a sophisticated evening where Chivas Extra was paired with a stunning menu, and where the evening included a dedicated tasting session led by global Master Blender, Collin Scott. Noth's role incorporated a full day of media commitments orchestrated by Cav Con where over $5M worth of coverage was secured.

Premium scotch Whiskey brand, Royal Salute, holds the mantle of bringing to market the world’s most expensive Whiskey ever created. Cav Con was tasked with launching this unique and exclusive bottle  here in Australia via a special event held in Melbourne’s Crown Casino. Targeting top tier media and heavy weights from the liquor industry, Royal Salute’s global ambassador hosted a special tasting of the brand’s premium vintages before unveiling the special bottle, bejewelled by Garrards of London. Extensive media publicity ensued across both traditional print and digital platforms.

Cav Con was tasked with dialling up the premium skincare credentials of the L’OCCITANE brand. To do so, Cav Con created a pop-up spa within the French homewares company, Parterre, Surry Hills, Sydney. Targeting top tier beauty editors, each was treated to a one-on-one facial in tandem with a mini workshop on the new Immortelle skincare range. The execution successfully reinforced L’OCCITANE’s skincare credentials and achieved a massive spike in coverage for the range immediately following.

Chivas Regal – Here’s to Real Friends

Here’s to Real Friends was the name of an ‘above the line’ campaign created for the Chivas Regal brand. Cav Con was tasked with bringing ‘Real Friends’ to life via a special execution in Sydney targeting top tier media and key influencers. Cav Con transformed the newly opened cocktail bar of the QT Hotel, Sydney, into the Chivas Regal gentlemen’s club. A short film by Director, X (a focal point of the campaign) was shown in a dedicated screening room created out of the private dining space adjacent to the main bar. Meanwhile, a separate tasting room offered vintage Scotch Whiskies paired with various cheeses, premium chocolates and fruits to highlight the versatility. Finally, a special photo booth was set up to capture a memento of the evening – a portrait with their real friend – which each guest was tasked with bringing to the event. Excellent coverage ensued including The Sun-Herald’s ‘Party of the Week’, in addition to extensive traction across key social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.

Cav Con created a ‘spa in the sky’ for leading cosmetic brand, L’OCCITANE. Held in a private apartment within the prestigious The Residence building, the setting dialled up the brand’s premium credentials while delivering a suitably contemporary edge to this established name in skin care to celebrate 20 years of Shea Butter  Leading beauty editors and bloggers were treated to luxe ‘mini-massages’, featuring products from the LOCCITANE Shea collection. Excellent traction was achieved across both print and digital channels.

KMS California is one of the world’s leading hair care brands. Known for its effective formulations, the brand is equally renowned for its strong sense of style that is equal parts fashion forward and fun. Cav Con hosted a dedicated launch for a new addition to the FREESHAPE range with a American diner style lunch held at cool inner-city hamburger joint, Hollywood & Vine. The venue also became the setting for a live demonstration from leading international stylist, Jenny Kim to showcase the diversity and outstanding performance ability of the products. Excellent coverage across both print and digital ensued.

LUXE is one of the fastest growing names in hospitality which has carved an enviable niche in the market for its quality offerings. LUXE incorporates a large scale bakery operation which supplies all manner of breads and pastries to a wide range of venues from high street to high end. The portfolio also includes 4 outstanding cafes of its own…with more on the horizon. Cav Con launched its flagship Woollahra venue while also giving toast to Luxe’s new catering division with a cool yet elegant party targeting both media, industry leaders and locals.

After a hiatus during which this ground breaking all natural / organic colour cosmetic brand was acquired by a new distributor Total Beauty Network, Cav Con was tasked with re-engaging with the important top tier of beauty media. With a tight budget and timeframe, a relaxed yet intimate breakfast event was staged in the suitably soothing setting of MCM House. The neutral palette of this leading interiors showroom was the perfect location to INIKA’s punchy colour range of outstanding formulations with true staying power and blend-ability. Celebrity makeup artist and INIKA ambassador, Michael Brown, delivered an informative presentation on creating the perfect winter face for 2014 using INIKA’S contemporary colour collection.
