Here’s to Real Friends was the name of an ‘above the line’ campaign created for the Chivas Regal brand. Cav Con was tasked with bringing ‘Real Friends’ to life via a special execution in Sydney targeting top tier media and key influencers. Cav Con transformed the newly opened cocktail bar of the QT Hotel, Sydney, into the Chivas Regal gentlemen’s club. A short film by Director, X (a focal point of the campaign) was shown in a dedicated screening room created out of the private dining space adjacent to the main bar. Meanwhile, a separate tasting room offered vintage Scotch Whiskies paired with various cheeses, premium chocolates and fruits to highlight the versatility. Finally, a special photo booth was set up to capture a memento of the evening – a portrait with their real friend – which each guest was tasked with bringing to the event. Excellent coverage ensued including The Sun-Herald’s ‘Party of the Week’, in addition to extensive traction across key social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram.
